The Catgut N Jugs Bluegrass Show is heard here on Bell Buckle Radio Tuesdays at 12:00noon Eastern.

My show originally started in Feb. of 1998 on 100.7 in Boone, NC as a one hour show on saturday nights. After a year the show was very popular and moved to monday nights and expanded to 2 hours. The show aired for almost 14 years on the station where each week we played the best in traditional and contemporary bluegrass and interviewed the artists and started doing live events with the first ever Doc and Rosa Lee Watson Festival in Sugar Grove, and started a long partnership with MerleFest and other events in and around the area.

After 14 years on the air I had to leave to take care of parents, and stayed active in the background in the bluegrass field with festivals and concerts etc. In september of 2023 I approached the new owners of the same station in Boone NC to put my show back on the air, they were very happy to bring it back on sunday nights from 8 to 10 p.m eastern and as before the show took off with great success, until this past June of 25 when after careful thought and consideration I decided to go out on my own on a streaming platform.
